FTKMC conducts various short-term training programmes and long-term academic courses. The programmes are conducted at the Training Centre in Mumbai, franchise centres in cities across the country, and well-known academic institutions in India and abroad.

FTKMC conducts training programmes in Africa, the Middle East, and South-East Asia. FTKMC has opened a training centre in Mauritius jointly with the University of Mauritius. It has also entered in a tie-up with the Securities and Investment Institute (SII), London, to conduct certification programmes.

FTKMC conducts the following training and certification programmes:

MCX Certified Commodity Professional (MCCP)
This is a basic-level programme for all those who opt to begin a career in commodity derivative markets. This certificate programme has two modes: online test and classroom training. The course provides the necessary inputs for participants to get acquainted with the modalities of the commodity markets. A certificate will be issued after the completion of the programme and the successful clearing of the online test.

Diploma in Commodities Market (DICM)
The commodities market in India has seen phenomenal growth and there is a dearth of professionals who have the right skill and knowledge to deliver in this fast-growing segment.  As a part of its commitment to the market to provide the much required talent pool, FTKMC has introduced the DICM course. The whole effort is to ensure that there is no gap between the need of the market and the course deliverables. The course covers technical analysis, risk management, and provides hands-on experience in online trading.

Global Securities Market Practice (GSMP)
FTKMC along with its associate companies, Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) and MCX Stock Exchange Limited (MCX-SX), announces an international certification programme of 120-hour duration. The programme provides comprehensive practice in the entire range of global securities markets across all the asset classes, institutions, and instruments. The programme also offers optional tour packages to centres of financial excellence in Asia, Europe, and North America.

Agricultural Financial Markets (AFM)
Agricultural Financial Markets is a 3-month/100-hour certification programme, designed to equip the participants in agriculture supply chain in the areas of production, processing, consumption, marketing, and finance, with greater knowledge of the functioning of various asset markets and synergies of their harmonization.

Equity Market Operations
There is a general dearth of skilled manpower in the vital functional areas of market operations. Besides, the job potential for skilled resources is not limited to metros but across the country where trading activities are concentrated. Those who complete this course will have wider employment opportunities to get inducted into the equity market operations, such as dealing room, risk management, and clearing and settlement.

Non-Linear Derivatives: Options and Swaps
Non-linear derivatives such as options and swaps are much sought after financial instruments in financial markets. The advent of such derivative instruments has increased the need for understanding their utility in risk management across currency, equity, and commodity markets. The programme provides an understanding of these instruments, facilitates identification of risk management strategies, and analyses valuation models and factors that affect the pricing of non-linear derivatives.
 
Accounting for Derivatives

Participants are taught the basis movement, the concept of contango, backwardation, inter-spread, intra-spread, butterfly spread, and arbitrage trading between spot and futures to lock in anticipated profit.

Fundamentals & Trading Strategies in Debt Markets

Commodity Specific Programme (CSP) on Bullion
FTKMC has initiated this programme on Bullion Derivatives with the dual objective of providing the participants an ideal gateway to a promising career and sufficing the industry requirement for qualified professionals. Emerging Issues in Commodity Markets: Electricity

Programme on Warehousing & Collateral Management

Programme on Emissions Trading (Carbon Credits)
It is important to understand the mechanics of trading in carbon credits and carbon financial instruments to benefit from emission reduction projects. The programme provides an insight into the mechanics of emissions trading and helps individuals build upon their domain knowledge in the field of emissions.

Financial Planning & Wealth Management

National Simulation Lab
